We did it! We're home safely (last night) and neck deep into the responsibilities of this week - continued search for a tenant, Spaghetti Dinner preparations for 130 people on Saturday at the school. I'm exhausted.
We had a great weekend. Schmoo did her best and wow'd us all, including Grandma Lady and Sam who were in Victoria to see her skipping debut. The highlights included a 2nd place ribbon for her duo with partner A on Saturday and an amazing 1st place finish for her solo on Sunday. The crowd went wild when she got called for the solo. She had placed last of the 4 competitors in her age category for the other 3 events, so everyone was ecstatic when she beat the other girls out for 1st place!
