Wish us luck!

We're pretty much packed and ready to hit the road in the morning for Victoria.  Schmoo had her final skipping practice this afternoon and is all ready for her rookie debut on Saturday morning.  We're both excited and a little bit nervous.  I stayed at practice today and watched the big kids (probably 16+) do their large group number....a group of 10 kids doing a choreographed skipping number.  It was amazing, gave me goosebumps!  I'm sure I'll come back amazed at all the things we see skippers do with their ropes this weekend.

Another season has kicked off....soccer.  Schmoo and Papa had their first practice on Tuesday afternoon.  It was like summer here, over 20C.  It was a hard sell to get her there, but she was happy to be there once Papa got her on the field.  She and her friend Z are likely to burn up the pitch together again this season.  Bean is eager for his soccer to start this weekend while we're in Victoria.

Bean's forehead is on the road to recovery.  We've had to replace the steri-strips a couple of times, but it appears to be healing well.  It's been a conversation piece for almost everyone we meet!
