I'm almost there. The bags are almost packed. My "to do" list is almost completely done. Somehow I managed to do everything I needed to do this week AND have a birthday party for Bean this afternoon with 4 of his closest friends from preschool. It was nice and relaxed. Three little girls and two little boys. We played outside a bit in the glorious spring sunshine, we decorated cupcakes, we opened presents, ate cake and had a treasure hunt for the goody bags. Schmoo was at school and skipping for it all, so it was all about Bean.
Both kids are writhing in excitement for our holiday tomorrow. I'll be glad to be out of town, away from my computer and extra-curricular activities. Time to focus some energy on family. Papa is driving us down to Spokane to see us off and will rendez vous with us again next Thursday in Phoenix for our Mexican adventure. In the meantime, I'm looking forward to some Utah hospitality with my sister and her family!!
