May seems to have come and gone without pause. The first week of June is already in full swing and we have returned to real life after 10 days away to celebrate Uncle C and Auntie S's big day on the 29th. There are lots of stories from our time away - from the stagette adventures in Calgary and Banff to the week in Calgary with friends and family to the big event itself. After so much friends and family time, real life has felt very "real" and I'm missing everyone. I'm hoping that a nice quiet weekend at home, with no plans will help all of us settle back into a quieter reality. I'm also hoping that our landlord responsibilities will take a bit of a breather now too with new tenants at one place and hot water tank repairs almost complete at the other place. I've still got mild phone anxiety every time the phone rings with worries about another problem to solve. Now all we need is some sunshine.
