The car show from Schmoo's perspective

Schmoo took control of the camera this afternoon as we wandered the main street to check out the annual car show that rolls into town for the weekend. She had a great time snapping pictures of cars and her friend H. The last one was H and Bean just before Bean had a meltdown and we had to make a quick departure.
We had had a busy morning. Up and out of the house by 8:30am in time for Schmoo's soccer game. Bean had a great time throwing rocks in the lake, snacking on the sidelines and playing on the exercise park that has been recently installed.

We lingered down at the soccer fields for a whole extra hour, visiting with the multitudes of friends we met. We finally made our way up to main street to check out the cars and have lunch with C & H at the bakery with their mom, D. The afternoon required a nap for Bean (and his mama) after the monster meltdown. Papa returned from his overnight golfing trip and Schmoo and I headed back into town to do some grocery shopping.

Papa's return meant a through garden tour which brought in many apples and tomatoes. The new concrete is dry, so the kids too great pleasure jumping around on it. They've gone to bed with the sun tonight - 8pm....a bit later than usual. Time for Mama and Papa to catch up on some of the movies I've been recording on the PVR!!

Those are great shots Schmoo. Great composition. And I like how you captured sweet emotion from your friend.
