Random pictures

Not much to report this week. The usual round of activities, including another leisurely Tuesday afternoon with my Ya Ya's. This week I was inspired to capture a couple of pictures from our time together, being leisurely.

Bean enjoyed a parent day today. The morning with his Mama at the gym and then a trip to the coffee shop. He was demanding that we do one more thing fun before we headed home so we snuck into the toy shop to peruse their supply of Playmobil. He loved going from collection to collection pointing out the ones that he "wished" for. Unfortunately our dawdling got us a parking ticket, but it was well worth the $8. It was Papa's turn in the afternoon. I had a whole list of things to do, most of which involved driving around to different locations around town. So with Papa working from home, I kissed my boys good-bye and left them snuggled up on the couch together watching a cooking show.

The winter nights have definitely arrived. It is pitch dark by 4pm already and we haven't seen the sun all week. The next couple of months are going to be long. What I really need is for the rain to stop and the snow to start to at least I'll feel motivated to get up to the ski hill for a good dose of sunshine!
