I'm packed, I'm ready, I'm hitting the road. The snowflakes are flying today, so it's a good time to head south to Vegas for Auntie V's big birthday celebration. Schmoo is on the mend. She went to school today and otherthan a cough that sounds worse than it is, she's great. The doctor confirmed yesterday that she had strep throat, so the antibiotics will continue until next week. My fingers are crossed that Bean doesn't get it too, otherwise Papa could be in for a long weekend without me.
Looking forward to lots of things...girl time, sister time, mother time, sleep time, mojitos and great meals. I'm sure by Sunday night when I'm driving home in the dark, I'll be ready for my family.
