Revenge will be mine

Somewhere along the line I've obviously upset my sister. We're suppose to support one another in this game of motherhood, making life easier NOT more difficult. Well, she decided that three tubs of moon sand would be a great idea for Bean's birthday. It was a full kit, complete with molds of farm animals, a play mat (ha, ha...like a kid is going to use the playmat) and three different colours of sand.
He loves it, of course. So does Schmoo. They ask to play with it every day and every day I (yes, I) have to clean it up. Today Schmoo took great pleasure in coming downstairs to tell Papa and I that they hadn't made a big mess, with a giggle in her voice. I came back upstairs to find the kitchen counter and floor beneath it covered in a rainbow of sand. Bean sat high in his stool, with one finger in his mouth taste testing the red sand. Needless to say we put them to work cleaning it up. The good news is that every time they play with it there is a significant amount that ends up in the garbage.

Cousin I's birthday isn't until November....so I've got lots of time to consider my revenge. Let's just send out a warning that there's a LOT of Dora stuff here that is no longer in service.....
Love you schwes!!
