Today was an all day, beachfront, poolside, hot, hot day. Got work and a board meeting out of the way before 9:30am....home for some chores (laundry, mostly) and then packed up the beach bag and the lunch bag and headed to the beach to meet some friends. In the end there were 4 moms and 10 kids, including two babies who are exactly the same age (born on the same day) to twins!! 
The kids endured the freezing cold water and hot sun for a couple of hours, including time for a pizza party on the beach and then headed up to the shady park for a bit. The babies and their moms (and other 4 kids) headed home and then D and I took our kids for ice cream and up to the outdoor pool for some more swimming. Schmoo continued to practice her swimming and Bean floated around in his Spiderman floaty.

Home for supper and an early bedtime. Another sunshine day with the kids tomorrow....maybe a trip up the valley to see Auntie E and the gang is in order!
