Last week's activities have caught up on me too. After going full steam ahead, my body is tired. I've managed to sneak in two solid naps on both Monday and Tuesday and today's boot camp experience was pretty tiring. All I've wanted to do is curl up with my little family and sleep away a couple of days. Even they have been tired. Poor Bean fell out of his bed last night too. It was 3:30am and we were startled awake with a thump and a cry. We scurried to pick him up and tuck him back into bed, so it wasn't until this morning that we noticed the two scratches that he got on his cheek, likely caught on the bookcase beside his bed.
Today has been busy. Work and school in the morning and a quiet afternoon with a pizza lunch at home. We got ourselves organized to all go out at 3:45pm so that Schmoo and Papa could go to soccer practice and Bean and I could do the shopping. It was fun to get back to the field in time to watch her running around a bit. She seems to be enjoying it, but likely enjoying the reunion with her two best buddies from daycare who are are on her team. After soccer, we took the kids back to Schmoo's school for her Celebration in Learning. It was an open house where we could see the things she is doing in her classroom. She enjoyed showing off some of her works in progress, but especially liked showing us her prowress on the computer. We brought two very tired kids home and tucked them quickly into bed.
So it's Thursday already tomorrow. We're definitely getting excited for Nana's arrival on Sunday. We were sad to say good-bye to Grandma Lady this morning, but had a great visit with her this last week. I, especially, was thankful for her help over the weekend and in the mornings this week. We'll see if I make through Lost tonight. I expect the feather duvet will be calling my name anytime soon.
