Success....

The weekend has come successfully to a close. In the past week, with the help of Grandma Lady (especially during the absence of Papa for two nights), I managed to:

1. work during the day on Thursday, have lunch, sign off some papers at the bank, go back to work for month end and talk about God until 10:30pm

2. follow this path on Friday - Schmoo to school, shopping for 130 at the Wholesale Club, do a rental walk through with exiting tenant, return to school to drop off groceries and pick up Schmoo, return to rental unit to clean and do walk through with new tenant, pick up more food and deliver to school, do some other errands, return to rental for final touches of cleaning, welcome husband home from two nights away, eat Thai food takeaway with husband, mother and friend who just happened to stop by.

3. Saturday I managed to be a sideline soccer mom at 9am, while attempting to oversee the wanderings of Bean, then orchestrate a spaghetti dinner for 135 at the school, with the help of many great volunteers, returning home at 8:30pm to a quiet house to watch half of "The Reader" before falling exhausted into bed.Today has been the quiet and peaceful day I had been pining for. Grandma Lady, Schmoo and I went to church and then we all enjoyed a quiet afternoon at home. Papa made a great moose meat stew for our family dinner and then we snuck away for date night to see "Wolverine". And so begins another week tomorrow. We're on countdown to Nana's visit....she starts her travels in only 6 sleeps!!
