Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....life is screaming by. Here's an update. Yesterday was super busy. School / work in the morning after a restless night of sleep. The dog continues to sleep well beside Papa's bed. Home, after a grocery store rendez vous with Papa to pick up a few things, for lunch. An impromptu playdate with our friends C & S and their mom, C who were in town and looking for something to do out of the cold. Auntie E's friend H stopped by too, so the kids played while the ladies chatted and the baby slept. Abour 4pm the power went out for two hours, so dinner was a cold plate of goodies and bedtime came early. The kids had fun using their flashlights though. The power came on just in time for Mama's soccer, so out I went! After soccer I went to the pub with my friend D to catch up on her holiday news. They've just returned from a 2 week family vacation to the Bahamas. Home with tired eyes and no energy to blog...sorry!
Today was a long work day. The cold snap continues so we were all sure to bundle up. Mama and Papa both wore their long underwear today. Work screamed by and I still brought home a pile of paper to work through. The backlog of work was getting to me today. How I'd love to be all caught up! A few extra hours at work tonight though in a quiet house has me feeling a bit better, especially since I was able to find a few extra things to help my numbers become a bit better balanced. Grandpa W came over for dinner before heading out to church with Auntie E, the kids and I. Papa went to soccer and came home early to find me with my nose buried in my work paper. Auntie E has spent the night knitting on the couch. The Christmas parties kick off tomorrow.....Schmoo's Christmas concert and Papa's work function tomorrow night and then Bean's Christmas party and the arrival of Uncle R!!
