from motherhood today.
Don't worry, I know I'll be back at work tomorrow but today wasn't great. Like many times in the past I had grand ambitions for a fun filled today, but they were all thrown out the window when I was presented with two miserable children. I have no pictures to share. The pictures I wish I could share would be: Schmoo outside in the snow whining about how the mountain of snow I had made here wasn't fast enough for her sled, or Bean having the monster of all muffin meltdowns in Save On Foods which carried through into the car on the way home and almost into the movie store, or Bean screaming at me at bedtime because I refused to read him a bedtime story. Those are the pictures that would tell a thousand words.
Luckily my day with each of the children ended with a snuggle in their beds. Not many words spoken otherthan I love you and let's find a happier day tomorrow. It's back to work for Mama tomorrow in the morning, so here's hoping that both Schmoo and Bean find a happier mood to spend the morning with Auntie E and her kids.
One ray of sunshine....
- the kids were excited when they finally got to go next door and present their bags of dog treats to our neighbour for his puppies Indi and Ghost. Unfortunately the puppies weren't outside, but the kids were more than happy with just handing the bags over.
