Worked all day, in fact the kids stayed until 4:15pm so I could sneak in an extra hour. Schmoo was most excited as it meant she got to stay with the big kids. Bean ended up going to school without a lunch! Silly Mama and Papa! It was all packed up and waiting for him on the kitchen table when he got home. The cookie from the coffee shop helped to tide them over when we got home late and I needed time to make supper.
Early bedtime, no bath. You can always tell Schmoo is tired when she says that she just wants to go straight to bed. A wonderful pancetta wrapped chicken with sweet potatoes and salad dinner al a Papa! I don't think I can ever stop expressing how thankful I am for a cooking husband. And then God group. As our group gets to know eachother, the discussions get more lively. We had a new person come to sit with us tonight, which added yet another perspective. Home after 11pm....thank goodness for a bit of a sleep in on Fridays with no work for Mama. Auntie E is back tomorrow after her week in the valley. It will be great to have them back in the house!
A cute story about Schmoo from last night. Papa told me that while I was out the kids were watching their show and Schmoo came running over to him, totally unprompted, wrapped her arms around him and said "I love you, my rollercoaster boy". She's so grown up....yet still our little girl.
