A lovely leisurely Sunday today. The kids were up early. Bean came racing into our room at 6:15am, announcing in his loudest voice that there was a red bug in the house. I had to shuttle him back to his room and remind him that he needed to stay in his room until the beep. Both kids were up before their alarms and hit the ground running when the alarm finally beeped. They raced downstairs to find their Grandma Lady, who then entertained them for the next 2 hours so Papa and I could have a bit of a lie in. What a treat.

The morning consisted of the girls heading off to church and the boys walking into town to meet us at the coffee shop. Bean and Papa had already had a coffee and muffin when we found them, so we picked up a couple of chocolate chip cookies for the kids (and a mountain bar for Mama) and headed home. Grandma Lady decided she wanted to walk back and both kids wanted to walk with her. So Papa and I headed to the grocery store to pick up some lunch and met them back at the house. The kids went for quiet time after lunch and Grandma Lady and I headed back into town to do some proper grocery shopping, plus a trip to Wal-Mart to buy some new shorts for Lady. We returned to find both kids up and running around, both without naps.

We all had a lovely sausage skewer and rice dinner together at the table and then we got the kids ready for bed before heading out to the movies. Before we left, Papa got the music going on YouTube and had both kids dancing away. I've posted the latest video of their antics on YouTube at this link:

They were pretty hilarious. Schmoo kept asking for Papa to play the rock song, whereas Bean wanted to watch more Chipmunks videos. We had a lovely walk into town and enjoyed watching "The Mummy". We returned to a quiet house, other than the teenager on the couch, talking to her boyfriend.
