It's been a long and boring day. Bean is still feeling under the weather, although doing better than yesterday. No more throwing up. But he has felt warm all day, hasn't wanted to eat much, even turned down juice to drink....just wanted his milky. His energy level has been low. There were the occasional bursts here and there, but for the most part, he hasn't been himself. I too haven't been much fun either. Just wasn't into it today so we didn't really do much. We spent the morning at home, where I tried to lie in, but without a second parent who usually gets up in the morning it's hard to lie in bed when the children are wanting. We ran a few errands in town and then drove out to Auntie E's house to drop off the frozen burgers for tomorrow's farewell party and a few other things. We came home and curled up on the couch to watch the Chipmunks (Nana - still their favourite). They both went to bed without fuss before 7pm, seeing as they hadn't had a nap. I've been busy baking cupcakes and making bean salad for the party. Now I just need to decide what to feed myself and then I'll settle in with the other movie that I rented for myself yesterday.
