Back on track and counting sleeps

We're totally back on track today. Up at a reasonable hour and out of the house to drop Schmoo off at preschool. Bean and I carried on to gymnastics. Thankfully, this week did not have any major incidents as per the muffin meltdown and head smash from the two previous weeks. Bean had a great time running around and was into almost everything. He has decided that he doesn't even want to try the bars right now, which I guess is okay. I can only imagine how difficult it is to try and put your legs up on the bar when you only have one hand. Even when the teacher is supporting you. Uncle R brought Cousin I to class today and they had plans to meet another friend after class so Bean and I snuck off to the gym for an hour. He settled in to eat his snack and I managed to sneak in a quick run on the treadmill.
We picked up Schmoo and then stopped at the post office to pick up the new passports! Hooray! Papa, Schmoo and Bean all have new passports now for our big trip next month. The kids had fun looking at their pictures while we drove home. We had a leisurely lead up to lunch. When we've been out all morning, they really enjoy just being able to run around and play together before we sit down for lunch. They managed to move half of their respective bedrooms into my walk-in closet. Somehow it always seems to take so much longer to clean it all up. We had lunch and quiet time. I talked to Nana today. She starts off on her journey tomorrow when Auntie J comes to pick her up. We talked about the cruise and the cold weather that is waiting for them this weekend. I busied myself organizing at the computer and sorting out yet another rental unit issue until Schmoo got up. Today she wanted to look through all the picture albums from when she and Bean were babies.
After an egg, bacon and toast supper, the kids went outside to help Papa in the garden. All three of them are happiest out there and it is so nice that the evenings are brighter and warmer now so they can spend some time outside before bedtime. Tonight they were busy digging a hole to plant some rhubarb cuttings that Papa got from one of his customers. A quiet night ahead as there is no hockey on tonight.
Schmoo's Favourite Parts of the Day
Favourite - snuggling Mama in the morning
Not Favourite - none
