Just another manic Monday

Obviously Monday must have been busy, as I didn't get my words to web. We were back on track with our regular routine:
- Schmoo to preschool
- Mama and Bean to the gym (we almost didn't get into the daycare today as there were tons of other moms waiting to get in. Luckily, since we were regular customers, they snuck us in. Good thing too, as I think I would have been very, very sad if I couldn't have gone to my class.)
- Pick up Schmoo and head home for lunch
- Out again to gymnastics for Schmoo. Bean and I watched the whole class today.
- Home for quiet time. Today when we came out of gymnastics, it was snowing! Again! And it continued to snow for the rest of the afternoon and evening.

Except today, cousin I was at our house having quiet time, so our quiet time didn't quite work out. We don't usually get home until close to 2:30pm, which I think is too late for Bean to go for a nap. Both kids rummaged in their rooms for a while and when cousin I woke up, I got them both up so they could see her. This evolved into a playdate, where cousin I stayed to play while Auntie E and Uncle R went to do their grocery shopping, taking baby R along. The kids ended up eating some supper together and cousin I headed home just after 5pm.

We had Babar and a big, big bath before I headed out to a meeting. Papa did the bedtime honours and I returned at 8pm to a quiet house. I had some supper and retired to my room to read, while Papa watched the Cult on the computer. He's getting ready for his big road trip on Friday to Cowtown to see them in concert. We ended up having a pretty early night (good thing as I had two middle of the night wake up calls).
