Up....the kids letting me lie in bed until 8:30am
Down...the washing machine ceasing to function with a full tub of water, including all of the kids' fleece blankets, including Schmoo's stars blanket
Up....my friend D offering to rinse and dry said load of laundry
Up....Bean's first day of soccer
Down....the coach saying to him in a loud enough voice for all parents and children to hear....Where's your arm? Where's your arm? thinking he had it tucked into the sleeve of his gigantic t-shirt (Oops - I guess I should have talked to the coach in advance)
Up....both kids napping in the afternoon so that I could remove all of the water from the washing machine with a measuring pitcher
Down....the extremely large spider that has taken residence by our front door. He's too big to scoop up with a paper towel and I can't bring myself to suck him up in the vacuum cleaner (mostly because I think he'll stay in the hose and then crawl out upstairs)
Up and Down....talking at length with Papa after hardly getting a chance to catch up all week. Tomorrow will be a hard day for everyone and my heart is with everyone in England.
Up.....an evening out with my friend D at the theatre and a break from putting the kids to bed
Down...the number of cars currently parked outside our neighbours house and the music I could hear playing when I let the dog out. Lucky Papa.....you get to miss this month's party!

Nice spider, just in time for Halloween.
Wow, that's bigger than Tarantula guy that lived in the scary storage area of our Van house. I'll send dude over to get it for you, our tarantula cage has been vacant for some time now, time for a new pet!
