We are in the midst of a snow storm. It started about 2:30pm and hasn't stopped....now being 11pm. This picture doesn't even do it justice, but I couldn't post tonight without some kind of picture of the snow. This is Airlie, tenatively looking down the back steps in all the snow. I ended up having to clear the steps for her first as she refused to go down on her own. Luckily it is beautiful and calm.....no wind, so not really a storm, but a heck of a lot of snow.
I've been busy working away tonight. I'm determined to get a jump on my backlog of work this month. I had a frustrating day at work itself, leaving with the feeling like I was again getting nowhere. I brought some new work home with me in hopes of putting a solid step forward. So after a lovely beef wrap dinner with the kids, a round of Candyland with Schmo, a snuggle at bedtime, a long overdue chat on the phone with my friend K in Toronto, plus a quick chat with Team Indi, I hunkered down. Great success.....I think I may have ALMOST balanced. The difference is minimal. So I go to bed feeling somewhat better about the half day of work ahead.
Health update....sinuses seem to be better today, ankle is still pretty achy.
