The Activities
A busy day for the girls and a quiet day for the boys today.
Schmoo and Bean let us sleep in today. Bean played for over an hour in his room with his trains while Schmoo watched her shows so Papa and I could have a nice New Years Day lie in.
Schmoo and I headed off at lunch time, picking up cousin Ryleigh at the junction for a trip to the movies. We saw "Alvin and the Chipmunks". Both girls seemed to enjoy it and taking Ryleigh back to Auntie E's meant a quick snuggle with cousin Roscoe.
Bean stayed home with Papa and refused to nap so was miserable and exhausted by bedtime.
Both kids went off to bed early tonight.

Thoughts for the Day
A nice quiet start to the new year. The kids played so well together this morning before I took Schmoo to the movies. It's so great to hear them having fun together. I'm looking forward to a day out at Auntie E's tomorrow helping out while Uncle R is out of town for the day.
