The Activities
Thursdays in our regular routine involve a morning mother's group at a local church (not the Catholic church that Schmoo and I go to). I get to drop the kids off for 2 hours and then socialize with the other moms. We usually have different themes/topics for our meetings and this week's meeting was about exercise, specifically strengthening our core muscles. It was a good session and the kids always have a great time as their friends C & H go to this group as well.
After a few errands, we headed home and had a quiet afternoon. Bean had a nice big sleep this afternoon and Schmoo got to watch some shows so that Mama could have a bit of a snooze today. There have to be the odd days that I can benefit from being a stay at home mom by getting an afternoon snooze. After dinner and bedtime, I headed out to try a new fitness class with my friend. We went out for dinner afterwards - not the best combination as I ended up having chicken wings!

Thoughts on the Day
We talked a lot at dinner tonight about Nana and Auntie J coming to visit. I told them how excited Nana is to come and see where we are living and spend some time here. Then we talked about the "big boat" that we're going on for Schmoo's birthday and all the different things that we'll get to do on it - sleep, eat, see icebergs. It's going to be such a great experience for all of us. We even started talking about how Schmoo will get to share a room with Nana. Just like when she has sleepovers with Grandma Lady.
