Moe comes to visit

Another Monday. Another rainy day. Got Schmoo to preschool and off to the gym for class. Today was the first day I attempted my new weights routine. Couldn't decide whether to do them before or after the aerobox class, so did a bit of both. Class was gruelling and I can feel my muscles from the weights workout. Was all finished up in time to shower and then go and pick up Schmoo. Apparently Papa made a surprise appearance at the gym daycare. His spidey sense told him that Bean had a poo and sure enough he did! Bean went all day today without a pullup on again, except at the gym and quiet time - thank goodness.

When we picked up Schmoo she was excited as it was her turn to bring Moe the Mouse home for a sleepover. Luckily, Moe is a stuffed mouse who comes with a little house and a book of things for Schmoo to do and draw pictures of. She had a great time today talking to Moe and showing him things around the house. She did remind me that he was only a stuffie though when I would make suggestions about what he should eat. She brought him to gymnastics and the big highlight was taking him with us when we went to the movies tonight. Luckily Moe got along great with Brown Seal and Airlie didn't show any interest in eating him.

On the spur of the moment, I decided that tonight would be a good night for Schmoo and me to go and see Kung Fu Panda. I told her she needed a nap after gymnastics and if she did, there would be a surprise. She responds well to that kind of request and sure enough, had a big nap. Bean had a big sleep too, but spent the evening at home with Papa. Apparently they spent ages out in the backyard after we left, collecting caterpillars which are now tucked in a container in Bean's room.

The movie was fun, but I was glad that I had left Bean at home. Schmoo loved having popcorn and sharing a Kit Kat and had lots to say on the way home about the movie. We returned to a quiet house and after tucking Schmoo into bed, Papa headed to bed and I watched another video that I rented this weekend that's due back tomorrow. We've got lots more fun things planned with Moe tomorrow as he goes back to preschool on Wednesday.
