Just another manic Monday

Not much to report today. A glorious fall day again here today. I'll take every one we can get because I know the grey skies of winter are coming soon. Morning at school and work. I learned something new today...surprise, surprise. I've also realized that I am very much responsible for cleaning up the mistakes of others. It's my job to take what has been done the day before and make it reconcile. What a treat. I also am responsible for interpreting small pieces of paper and again trying to reconcile what they should be attributed to. I guess it's a good thing I'm up for a good challenge....EVERY DAY.

Spent the afternoon at home. Schmoo and Bean created another train track masterpiece on the floor. They make a good team at this task about 95% of the time. We had some stories out on the front deck in the sunshine and then retired to our rooms for quiet time. Learning new things sure tires me out, so off for a nap I went. The kids of course did not nap, but were up with the beep asking to get up. They retired to the front room for some mid-afternoon shows while I dozed a bit more. Papa came home around 4pm and we got organized for the kids' supper. I headed out with Airlie for a nice long walk and returned to a quiet house....the kids in bed, Bean already asleep. We've had some homemade pizza for dinner and will likely have an early night. Tomorrow is my first "month-end" so I'm working in the morning and again in the evening for a few hours. I think I've learned now (especially from last night's TV viewing) that staying up to watch a show from 10-11pm isn't a good thing. The VCR is about to become my new best friend.
