Month End

Well, I have my first official month end under my belt. Today was a split shift day. I worked in the morning, spent the afternoon with the kids and then headed back to work at 5pm to do the month end procedures for the books. It was a busy and full day and now I'm ready for bed. Luckily I made it home in time for the season premiere of The Tudors. The kids had a great morning at school and we went to C & H's house for lunch and a play out in the glorious sunshine. Bean even managed to have a nap this afternoon and wasn't interested in going to bed when Papa put him in his room tonight. A busy day tomorrow. We'll be getting organized for our trip to Cowtown on Thursday after our school / work mornings.

Another exciting thing about month end is payday! Today was my first official payday in over 3.5 years. How exciting to see a bit of extra money in our account. It's going to a good cause this month as Papa is booked to head back to England for a visit with Nana and Grandad. Just in time for Nana's birthday. The kids and I have been busy discussing what we could get for Nana for her birthday. Schmoo is very concerned that we don't get avocado, pizza or corn.....what a great memory!

As you say what a great memory that Nana doesn't like avacado, pizza or sweetcorn but I'm not sure that that is a good memory of me. They're both such treasures. It will be lovely to see Mark and I have told Al that he is coming to see him.

Congratulations! Payday is always exciting no matter who you are and where you will spend it.

Looking forward to Friday more than ever to see Fraser and Sophie and of course their mommie!

My goodness Roscoe( especially in her latest blog) beside the large vase! Happy travels tomorrow.
