Ours does, obviously. This photo was taken tonight after Papa and Bean caught Airlie in the act. You can see there are 1.5 tomatoes remaining in this picture. She actually managed to eat both of these tomatoes over the next 1/2 hour. Strange dog....must be hungry.
We had a nice day of leisure today. The sun and warmth came back. Still cool in the morning, but by the time we were finished at the gym it was nice and warm. We visited with Auntie E's friend L and her little boy L after the gym when they came over to pick up some stuff that Auntie E had left behind for them. The kids ran around together for a bit while I gave L the house tour and then they carried on with their day's activities. We had lunch at home, which turned into anothe half lunch experience as the kids acted up and wouldn't settle down at the table. I figure it will only take a couple of times of me taking their food away for them to get the idea. After lunch we headed to the park to meet up with C & H and their mom, D. The boys and girls both had fun playing together. Schmoo was SO happy to see H.
We returned home around 2:30pm and all proceeded to crash out for the rest of the afternoon. Papa was working from home and headed back out to work at 3pm, leaving us to a quiet house. Schmoo came and found me around 4pm when her alarm clock beeped and Bean wasn't far behind her. It will be interesting to see how their energy levels are over these next few weeks as we transition into our new schedule. I think a full week of school for both of them will mean more naps. Papa came home in time for the kids' dinner. They ate much more calmly tonight. I headed out to do the grocery shopping on my own and Papa took the kids and Airlie around the block for a walk. They were both cleaned up and ready for bed when I got home. Papa and I are going to have our usual late supper and settle in to watch a movie. We've got an early start tomorrow as we're going to take both kids to school for the times they'll start going next week.
