It's 9:30pm. We've been pretty much on the move since the kids woke up at 6:00am this morning. I'm off on a super big hike tomorrow with two friends so am eager to get to bed. Here's today's highlights! - Van went to the shop today, so got a nice walk in the sunshine both back home from the shop and back again to pick it up.
- Took the kids into town on a big walk this morning to check out the big show and shine down Main Street. There had to be about 200+ cars lined up. The kids thought is was pretty cool and picked out a blue car as their favourite. We found C & H in the crowd, of course!
- Both kids managed to nap today. Schmoo's was short as I had to wake her up to go to her friend M's birthday party. Bean had a nice long nap and had a nice quiet hour just hanging out with his Mama reading books on her bed before we went back out to pick up Schmoo.
- We had a lovely dinner up the lake with U & L. Papa and U watched the Canadian soccer game on satellite and L and I entertained the children. After supper (and the game), Papa and U entertained the kids out by the water, feeding some ducks. Both kids did great, such good manners.
It was a beautiful fall day here. Warm in the afternoon and nice and sunny. Here's hoping tomorrow brings the same kind of weather. I'm happy to hear that Grandma Lady has arrived safely in Beijing and is living it up!
